A meditation, a prayer, an observation for the need for love and respect for any and all matter in this world. We need to try a new approach to our time here in Earth and we should start within our hearts.

When I step out into the morning sunlight, it reminds me of the raw natural grace of winter. The way in which all of nature is exemplified through its extremes and obvious contrasts, the blinding sun followed by long cold nights. The feelings of hibernation and regeneration, new beginnings amongst so much desolation. The purity of the cold and snow contrast the warmth ignited in the hearts of so many humans forced to scale down their lifestyles and activities to include more intimacy within their own emotions and toward others. There is a basic primal feeling toward winter that strikes people in a vaguely subconscious way with a familiarity they can’t quite connect to and fully understand. It’s a repeated pattern, as in our lessons in life and how they are repeated if they are not consumed and digested. It is our sustenance, regeneration, what keeps us moving, evolving from year to year throughout our lives. Without an end, there can be no beginning. Without desolation there can be no regrowth. Our winter is internal at every milestone and every memorable moment in our lives. The starkness of our emotions can leave us cold and removed from reality, that we don’t allow ourselves to see the beauty of the light in our lives, even though that is when it is at its strongest and most beautiful. The blinding light of a winters’ morning is our reality, plain, and challenging us all to look through it, to the beauty it is illuminating. The simplicity of life has shone through to remind us all that we are important and dependent on each other for survival, through basic raw emotion and purity of truth visible to anyone whom looks past the penetrating gaze of their reality. Do not shutter away and make excuses as to why you can’t see through the light, the life that is before you. Look through it and feel the truth you have in your hearts. Acknowledge the overwhelming emotion of love for life and beauty you have and share it with everyone you encounter. You will start to feel in your heart, what you know in your soul to be an affinity with all people and things. For you will allow all others to show their emotions as well and will realize we all are inherently the same creatures desperately wanting to acknowledge and express the truth within our souls. That stark feeling of true expression and connection with our own truths is our regeneration, our rebirth. This land needs us to see our truths, feel our passion, express our birthright no matter what the cost. We are here to heal, ourselves and nature. Through our instinctual understanding of universal laws we can make great strides, breaking through all barriers of existence and opposition as we know it. Following what is in the heart is always stronger than tradition. History does not always repeat itself. We have to claim our own history, the history of our purpose in this world, what we know to be true, opposed to the truths told to us. The sacrifice of so many past and future living things demands our strength and passion to face the diversity and ignorance that has evolved here. This has not always been an ignorant place and love and compassion will right what has been wrong for so long. Step through the blinding light and take the hand of the one who needs you, God has this plan for us and has placed it within your heart, within your path, within your grasp. Take that leap of faith and live confidently in the face of adversity, knowing you are leading your soul’s purpose through the deep well of love you feel within yourself that will never run dry. Know the loving all in your path will make the difference in this life. Believe in yourself and lead by example. So many are waiting to follow something that rings so true in their hearts. Use your gift of knowing and share it with so many who need to feel it. Your time will change so much, but you can’t see it until it has come full circle, as in any lesson. You all know in your hearts how you are to conduct the lives given to you. It takes so much strength and faith to live opposite the way of your world, but it is your choice. Only know that you can and will succeed in whatever your purpose is if you live simply in your hearts, in God’s love.

Many things can trigger inspiration in people, but ultimately inspiration comes from within. I am always struggling to come up with ways to put fleeting, half-baked ideas down on paper in a smart, coherent way and all I can say is I just start writing and things usually come together somehow. The process is always nerve-racking and I am never sure of myself while I am writing anything. I suppose it is the faith you bestow in yourself that is tested every time you do anything. Having the courage to look within and love yourself enough to trust your own beliefs, then share them with the world, takes divine inspiration. Inspiration usually stems from love and love is truly divine. It is the fuel of our souls, what propels us in a positive or negative direction. An object in motion stays in motion, but love directs it’s course.

Trying to stay positive when you are feeling negative and the effects it has on everyday life.

Lately, I have been an eternal pessimist in an optimist’s clothing and I can’t even fool myself. Trying so hard to keep positive, but the more I try the more of a fraud I feel. I think I just need a break from my life for a day or so. Sometimes a step back to reevaluate is all I need to put things into perspective. The boys vamp energy all the time. I wouldn’t want it any other way. Sometimes I see glimpses of myself in the back of my mind and get ready to attack for it. On the hunt to a better me, but someone needs something and time slips, moments pass, and defeat sets in again enforcing the though-felt consensus that my life was over before it began. My window of opportunity was missed. I know it’s not true, but it’s easier to feel sorry for myself. A window is there. It’s not the same one because I am not the same person, but it holds the same feelings of accomplishment and love for myself and my family. Future opportunity holds a richer reward for a more wise and compassionate soul who embraces all lessons in life, the amazing and devastating, as a blessing. A blessing to be used as a tool to learn and teach love in all forms. I love my family. My boys mean everything to me, the center of my universe around which all else revolves. I want to be a better person to be an example for them, but six years of changing diapers, making bottles, sleeping less and less all take a toll off the optimistic view of my life’s potential. I find myself reading about other people doing and going about in life and find it very difficult to believe it can be me too. What more is it going to take to help me realize I can just be happy with myself and my life and the ambition and laughter and success will all naturally envelope my world in subtle and inexplicable ways creating inspiration and positive change and evolution in the lives of many.
